Stanley Cup Champions Tees shirts

Posted by – June 24, 2010

Hey…

Have you heard the news? The Chicago Blackhawks won the 2010 Stanley Cup! The city continues to reel, and residents and fans worldwide continue to wear their Chicago Blackhawks tees. Blackhawks Hockey Shirts aside, let’s look at both the ensuing party and changes to come.

First, as most everyone in the nation now knows, the playful kids from the Madhouse on Madison have taken the city by storm. There are pictures and stories abound about random spontaneous parties breaking out in restaurant after restaurant, bar after bar. You might be hanging out at a total dive bar, and Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews walk in—with, of course, THE Stanley Cup. Fans have touched it, hugged it, squeezed their Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-Shirts against it like a person trying to release a genie from a lamp, drank out of it, and God knows what.

The Chicago Tribune was so worried about it that they actually tested it for bacteria. Guess what, 2010 Stanley Cup Champions Shirt wearing fans…we’re clean! The rabbit lived! The cup was actually pretty sterile. It was probably all the alcohol that has coated and probably forever embedded itself in the silver. Let’s hope it stays that way because we might get to keep it here for a while. ESPN even used the words “possible dynasty.” So get your Blackhawks Championship Roster Shirt now, because, if you haven’t heard, the list of team members is already changing.

While Patrick and Jonathan are staying, Dustin Byfuglien and probably Marian Hossa may be moving on. It doesn’t make fans any less avid. You can still wear your Old Blackhawks logo shirt with pride. The year 2011 might be another great won!

Well, it’s been four days since winning the Stanley Cup, and two days since the big parade. Has the city forgotten about the victory? Um…no! It’s quite obvious what’s going on. Everyone in the city is wearing their Chicago Blackhawks Tees and no one seems to care that the Chicago Cubs are playing the Chicago White Sox in Wrigley Field this weekend. When Cubs tickets went on sale, I bought 4 tickets to Saturday’s game, and two tickets to tonight’s game. Well, as luck would have it, I learned a week ago I would be able to make either, so I attempted to sell them on Craig’s List. It turns out that it’s easier to sell Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts, that’s for sure. I sold to tickets to yesterday’s game, ate the other two, and then sold two tickets to tonight’s game…at a LOSS. What the?

Indeed the city is still reeling from the victory, and the team is still touring the city. They were seen at Rocket over the weekend, and apparently Kane, Don’t Toews Me Bro Shirt Jonathan, Sharp had fans (girls) all over them. Many were wearing Stanley Cup Champions Tees, and others were wearing shirts like the Blackhawks Fear the Beard shirt and the Old Blackhawks Logo Shirt, and others like this one:

And, as luck would have it, the Chicago Blackhawks are going to the Cross-town Classic at Wrigley. I’m not sure if they’re going to throw out the first pitch, sing the 7th inning stretch, or tour the stadium with the trophy. Whatever the case, they sure are making the most of it. As a team, they seem more powerful and popular than Michael Jordan or Walter Payton ever were.

I’m not sure when this trend will change. The NHL season doesn’t start for many more months, and things don’t look too great for the Bears. Perhaps next season will be great for the Bulls, but that’s only if they pick up Lebron James. It’s left to be seen. One thing’s for sure: the Chicago Blackhawks fan base is here for the foreseeable future. They have locked in Kane, Sharp, Keith, and Towes for several more years. Their only enemy is the salary cap, but if you look at what they have, it sure seems like we should be talking about a dynasty!

Get your www.GAFY.com Chicago Blackhawks Tees now, or wait until next season. Or wait until we can once again say Phil Jackson’s famous trademarked word…THREEPEAT!

The Blackhawks Championship Roster shirt is cool, by the way. Way cool!

Cheers!

It was indeed a 24 hours to remember. Just two nights ago, the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Philadelphia Flyers in game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals to bring Lord Stanley’s Cup back to Chicago for the first time since 1961. Those 49 years are indicative of the grit it takes to win the championship. The current format is nothing less than a marathon. Four best-of-seven series! And the hockey is taken to a whole new level when it comes to the Tournament.

So, as it turns out, in the minutes and hours following the game, the team was not only wearing their Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts, but they were also conspiring to launch an onslaught onto the city of Chicago. I showed you earlier in the week the unbelievably cool images of the skyline and some of the cool www.GAFY.com Chicago Blackhawks Tees such as:

Like in the tournament, these guys took it to a completely different level. Rumor has it, they all jumped on a plane and went straight to The Pony—the Blackhawks’ favorite bar—at the corner of Belmont and Lincoln. Apparently, they showed up around 2:30 am, and they partied until around 9:00 am. If you don’t believe me, ask yourself if this person looks familiar to you:

Yesterday morning, the word was out, and photos were circulating among all of the faithful. The Stanley Cup Champions Tee wearing crew was on a pub crawl throughout the city. First, it was back to The Pony, but it was followed by a visit to the Viagra Triangle, and a few other neighborhood bars. Here’s another photo of Jonathan Toews holding the trophy up for avid fans:

As if that wasn’t enough for them, it turns out the city of Chicago wanted to share in the joy, so today, no fewer than 300,000 fans joined them, all wearing Chicago Blackhawks tees, carrying models of the Stanley Cup Trophy and a loud voice. The team slowly exiting the Madhouse on Madison (The United Center), stepped onto a few buses, and made their way downtown to the throngs of crazy-excited people. Here are some photos of the event:

All in all, it was clear that people were happy to see them and wear their Blackhawks Hockey shirts. Some were also wearing the Old Blackhawks Logo Shirt and the Blackhawks Championship Roster shirt.

Regardless of the garb, everyone was celebrating on a glorious, sunny, 80 degree day. It was a moment to unite the city. People dropped their opinions of the Cross-Town Classic (Cubs vs Sox) that is coincidentally happening this weekend, and we all “just got along!”

Congratulations to the 2010 Stanley Cup Champions shirt wearing Chicago Blackhawks!

We can now talk about it!

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks! They are the 2010 Stanley Cup Champions! I wrote about it last night, and I’m still writing now. Get your Stanley Cup Champions Tees now! There’s no doubt that was an unbelievable battle. I had a chance today to view Patrick Kane’s winning overtime goal. I’ll tell you about that momentarily, but first, did you check out this cool 2010 Stanley Cup Finals Shirt:

So, I had a chance to listen to the Philadelphia Flyers radio announcer, the Chicago Blackhawks radio announce, and the TV announcer. It is absolutely amazing. They all immediately call the goal due to Kane’s reaction, but all three, in a matter of 1 seconds reverse the call. They’re all like, “Wait a minute. Where’s the puck? Leighton has covered it up. OH! OH! IT’S IN THE NET! IT’S IN THE NET! CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 2010 CHAMPIONS SHIRTS FOR EVERYONE!”

In instant replay, you can see that perhaps the very first person to know was Patrick Sharp. I slowed down the replay and you could see his stick going up before Kane’s. Kane even said, “I was just tossing it to the net in hopes of a rebound.” Kane’s angle improved as he skated to the backside of the net, but Sharp had a straight-on view.

We’ve all seen that really special NHL Stanley Cup commercial asking, “What’s it like to win the Stanley Cup?” Kane’s reaction personified it. He threw his gloves off, jumped on the ice, shook his hands in the air, and jumped on Antti Niemi (of course, followed by the entire team). The team will soon be donning www.GAFY.com Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts. Probably my favorite is the Blackhawks Championship Roster Shirt, but that’s completely subjective.

Anyway, look closely at their great and unique selection of Chicago Blackhawks Tees. You’re sure to find something that you like. Congratulations to Coach Q, all the players (especially Marian Hossa—finally), and the entire city of Chicago! You guys are winners of the most coveted trophy in all of sports and the future looks bright!

Wow. They did it. In an overtime victory, the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Did you get your Stanley Cup Champions Tees yet? You should definitely visit www.GAFY.com. They have many, many designs for everyone in your family, and they have 18 styles and a ridiculous amount of colors.

So, as it turns out, Patrick Kane drained an OT goal past Michael Leighton to bring home the Chicago Blackhawks Tees wearing fans something to relish for years if not decades. The exciting game featured several lead changes, several objectively bad calls (um…Goalie interference?!), goals by four different Blackhawks. And now, bring on Lord Stanley’s Cup. Jonathan Toews got the MVP award, but in reality, there wasn’t a Chicago Blackhawks player that didn’t give his part. (Perhaps Christobal Huet, but he, too, played an important role.)

So, for 49 years, it escaped the city. Were it not for the Chicago Bulls or the Chicago White Sox, Chicago fans wouldn’t have much to wear besides their NOW NEW www.GAFY.com Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-Shirts. Did you get yours yet?

You should definitely check out this awesome commemorative roster shirt:

This tee is nothing but sweetness. It lists every Blackhawk who gave every ounce of energy and life to bring home the cup.

Back to the game. Chris Pronger is a goon. I cannot think of a bigger thug than Pronger…except for maybe Daniel Carcillo and Scott Harnell. At this point, it’s hard to bash the Philadelphia Flyers because they lost, but tonight’s game was a little over the top. In any case, who care, Chicago?! As it turns out, you get to keep the most hard fought championship in all of sports. Congratulations to the entire team, Coach Quinneville, Rockey Wertz, the city of Chicago, and of course, the avid fans.

The NHL commercial currently airing (the one of the interviews post-championship over the past few decades) articulates it best. Words cannot really describe what it takes to win this thing. Enjoy!

Be sure to get your Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-Shirts today! If you forget, you’ll always have an opportunity to get this cool hockey tee for a long time:

One day to go. In one day—in fact—in 23 hours, game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals will be underway. The Chicago Blackhawks will look to close it out against Pronger and the boys. Who has the edge? Who knows, but I did learn today that both Lovie Smith (Chicago Bears) and Tony La Russa (St. Louis Cardinals) called Joel Quinneville to wish him good luck. REALLY? Tony La Russa? That’s like saying that the Cubs Northsiders like the Sox Southsiders! Crazy times, indeed.

Interestingly enough, it definitely seems that baseball has taken a back seat in this city. The cross-town classic is this weekend, but the people of Chicagoland can’t look past June 9th. The city has united in a cause. The pictures speak for themselves.

Take a look at these buildings!

Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup

A view of the Aon Building with the Stanley Cup

Chicago Blackhawks Building
I mean…wow! Only in Chicago!

It’s not just the buildings. People all over the city are donning their Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-Shirts everywhere. The GAFY.com tees are not only popular and clever, but they come in an amazing array of styles and colors. Something for everyone, indeed. Whether you want a Blackhawks Hockey Shirt or an Old Blackhawks Logo Shirt, you’re bound to find something for that special person in your life!

Back to the pre-game! Shannon Ryan said it best, “The Blackhawks will settle for the immediate over the ideal.” She, of course, is referring to the desire to cap it off on home ice. It still could happen, but if the Chicago Blackhawks do win the Stanley Cup on home ice, it would mean that they lost tomorrow and everyone who purchased Stanley Cup Champions Tees would be a bit early on the trigger. Indeed, because in that scenario, the Philadelphia flyers win tomorrow and bring the series to a 3-3 tie. It wouldn’t come as a major surprise. So far, every game has been won on home ice. We’ll have to wait to see what happens.

“Winning at home would be icing on the cake,” captain Jonathan Don’t Toews Me Bro Toews said Tuesday. “But really it doesn’t matter to us. We want it more than anything. Whether it’s on the road or at home, to us it doesn’t matter. We know we have to be better in this building especially.” Anyone and everyone in Chicago agrees. Let’s just get it over with and bring home the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1961. It’s better than waiting over 100 years for a Cubs World Series championship!

Whatever comes first, you’ll always have the ability to purchase Chicago Blackhawks tees at www.GAFY.com. Get your cool t-shirts now while supplies last.

Oh…one more thing! Apparently, GAFY.com is about to come out with a One Goal T-shirt. How cool will that be? A One Goal Tee that essentially says, “Mission Accomplished!”

Game 5 – Get Your Stanley Cup Champions Tees

Posted by – June 8, 2010

Did you catch the Stanley Cup Final game 5 last night? What a doozy. The winner would certainly be in the driver’s seat after the Philadelphia Flyers managed to tie up the series against the Chicago Blackhawks 2-2. In a best of seven tournament, one game obviously can make a difference, but if you’re the Flyers, it’s now do-or-die. They literally have to win both games to keep their menace from wearing their Stanley Cup Champions Tees.

It started with about as much energy as there has ever been in the United Center. Over 22,000 strong, they were even blessed by the Great One. NO! Not Wayne Gretzky, but Michael Jordan. (On a side note, many people were surprised to NOT see LeBron James who seems to be inching closer and closer to Chicago on a daily basis.)

Anyway, the Chicago Blackhawks came out unbelievably strong; whereas, the Philadelphia Flyers didn’t start like an NHL Stanley Cup Tournament team. They were incredibly flat, and their passing was atrocious. Before you knew it, Seabrook drained a shot deep in the net from about 15 feet, and the race for the Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts was on. Next thing you knew Dave Bolland and Chris Versteeg added to the tally and the Chicago Blackhawks tees were flying off the rack. With a 3-0 lead in the first, there was very little the Flyers could do.

In the second period, everything changed. The Blackhawks maintained their incredible energy, but the Flyers came roaring back. The period was not only exciting, but it was very evenly matched. By the end of the second, it was clear that Philadelphia was not just going to curl up and fold over. Granted, Chicago still had a 3 goal lead, but the intensity (and hits) of both teams took everyone’s breath away.

In fact, that’s probably what changed the game…the intensity. There’s no way to know for sure, but Dustin Byfuglien started hitting, and both teams responded. Many people mentioned that they thought Dustin simply was gassed. He really hadn’t done much to earn his Stanley Cup Champions Tees shirt, but he changed opinions last night. With two goals and two assists, there was no stopping him. In fact, in the playoffs, the Chicago Blackhawks are now 7-0 when Byfuglien scores a goal. So…I guess if you’re in Las Vegas and DB scores a goal in the first, you should start betting on outcomes…

By the way, I haven’t mentioned yet any of www.GAFY.com’s great Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts.

There are some cool new ones. Check it out, have you seen the Blackhawks Win Flag Shirt? How about the 2010 Stanley Cup Champions Shirt?

Perhaps the most popular at the moment is the Fear the Beard Shirt. I personally am a fan of the Old Blackhawks Logo Shirt.

In any case, it’s completely up to you. Which do you like? Get one now before it’s too late!

One Goal. Stanley Cup Championship!

Chicago Blackhawks Tees – Too Early?

Posted by – June 6, 2010

ame 5 is upon us. In about 4 hours, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers will face off against each other to see who takes control of the best-of-seven Stanley Cup Finals. Currently tied 2-2, the Blackhawks will be blessed with a home crowd at the crazy United Center, better known as the Madhouse on Madison. I drove by a little earlier today, and everyone in and around the area was wearing their Chicago Blackhawks Tees. Some were even being a little presumptuous and wearing–are you ready for this, because some would say they are jinxing the opportunity for Chicago that hasn’t been around since 1961 Stanley Cup Champions Tees.

CAREFUL PEOPLE! Don’t forget, it’s tied up and the only advantage is home ice at this point. If you remember, too, the Blackhawks play much better on the road early in the tournament. They beat Nashville, Vancouver, and San Jose with a substantial amount of road wins. So…don’t get too far ahead of yourselves and start ordering Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts.

Speaking of cool tees featuring the 2010 Stanley Cup, GAFY.com sure has some cool shirts for your perusal. Take a look at this commemorative Blackhawks Player Roster Shirt:

If you take a look at the current odds, you’ll see that Chicago has a slight edge:

Maddux Sports NHL Odds

And

In virtually every scenario, Chicago is favored; however, all it takes is one bad mistake by Niemi or one great shot by Pronger. Whatever the outcome, it’s sure to be an amazing game. If you haven’t already seen GAFY.com’s cool Shirt for the Ages, check this out:

In Chris Cuk’s words:

The pressure is building between the Blackhawks and Flyers. Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals is tonight at the United Center in Chicago.

The series is tied 2-2, and each team is looking to take a decided advantage in the best-of-7 matchup.

Blackhawks big money-maker and wing Patrick Kane said that while there is pressure on his team, “the Flyers think they have pressure on them, too. Look at the situation. It’s 2-2, Game 5 and you’re fighting for a Stanley Cup and the lead in the series. This game is probably the most important game. We win this one we get two chances to win the Stanley Cup in Games 6 and 7. Yes, there’s pressure on us but at this stage I think there’s pressure on everyone.

“This is a huge game–biggest one of the season for both team,” Kane said after Sunday’s morning practice skate. “It’s a game everyone will be watching and a game you should be pretty excited about.”

Chicago Blackhawks winger Andrew Ladd and defenseman Duncan Keith skipped the morning skate but coach Joel Quenneville said they were just resting and will be in the lineup. For their sake, they had best be in the game. It’s going to be a doozy!

In the grand scheme of things, you can’t really ask for a more exciting outcome. At this point, tied 2-2, it’s at least a 6-game series. Unlike the San Jose series that ended in a four game sweep, the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals have been awesome.

So, before it’s too late, don’t forget to puck up your Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirts. If you forget those (it might be too late if you wait until the end of June), you can always come back here. My guess is that, similar to their 2016 Olympics Tees, GAFY.com will be selling Chicago Blackhawks Tees for many months and years to come.

Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Game 4 – Get Shirts Now

Posted by – June 6, 2010

Um…Mr. Sopel. Mr. Brent Sopel? Has anyone seen a defenseman named Sopel? Was it me or did he completely drop coverage?

In case you’e wondering what I’m talking about, game 4 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals took an odd turn half way through the third period. Somehow, the defense blew its coverage so bad that a quick pass to WIDE OPEN Claude Giroux looked like something out of a pee-wee game. Sitting helpless, Antti Niemi had no chance as he and Duncan Keith looked stunned. Have a look at this photo:

It was a very exciting game, although the Flyers clearly played the Chicago Blackhawks shirts off. After a 2-0 start, it seemed like the Blackhawks had no chance to win…then, before you know it, it was 3-0. You know, a 2 goal lead may sound like a lot, but it’s not impossible to overcome. Then, Patrick Sharpie Sharp drilled one past Michael Leighton to add a little excitement to the game.

The problem was, it was already the third period. But, again, there was some excitement in the air so keep your Blackhawks Stanley Cup t-shirts on! Enter our friend Brent Sopel. While I love the guy, it seemed as if he were off his game last night. In less than a minute, the score was back to 4-1. One again, insurmountable.

Oh, by the way, have you seen Gafy’s next commemorative Chicago Blackhawks shirt? Check out this cool shirt design:

It’s literally a picture of Chief Blackhawk wearing the 2010 Stanley Cup trophy on his head. Funny stuff.

Anyway, I digress. Again, you’d think a 4-1 lead would be insurmoutable, but in as much time as it took me to properly spell that word, Chicago came roaring back, and before you knew it, the score was 4-3 with a few minutes left for the Blackhawks to save thier shirts.

If you had the pleasure of watching the game with the Chicago Blackhawks official watching party at the Bottom Lounge, you were gifted with a monster high definition television and surround sound. In other words, holy crap did the puck almost land in the Flyers’ net a few times or not? I mean, talk about a game of inches. There were no fewer than 3 pucks that, on any given night, might have just made it past Leighton. In fact, if he wasn’t wearing such a baggy looking Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-shirt (ok, it’s not a t-shirt, and he’s a Flyer, but it does fit him loosely), the game could have easily reached 4-4.

As luck would have it, though, the Chicago Blackhawks pulled Antti Niemi with roughly 1:30 left in the third. The Hawks crashed the net hard, but a poor pass to the wing ended up out of the zone and stolen by the Philadelphia Flyers. End of story.

So, we are now at a 2-2 game tie in the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals. Like I mentioned yesterday, it’s a battle for the ages. And Gafy has the perfect 2010 Stanley Cup Shirt:

So now it’s back to a 3-game series. The Chicago Blackhawks still have home ice advantage, but who really has the momentum? That’s left to be seen. In the meantime check out these really cool Stanley Cup Shirts:

It’s left to be seen, but one thing is for sure, Chicago has some great Blackhawks Stanley Cup T-Shirts already to move.

Their latest hockey shirts include a bunch of cool designs. Check some of them out:
